death lesson 13 revision

"Disillusioned in the world I have woken up to, so will I venture to make for myself a home." Rumple was walking the rainbow road looking for New Jerusalem. Hoping to catch the shadow of the lighthouse, also called: sanctuary. Floating over the holly hollow woods covering the New Earth, it had been a day or so and he already regretted the expedition.
The woods were "spooky," and there was nowhere to rest. Over the rainbow road, you could see the shifting dead trees, with a face one moment, then a regular dead tree the next. "They" however were always watching waiting with ancient gods and demons fighting up through the roots of the lawyers of law rats and their grand inquisition to drag you kicking and screaming down to the place where the monsters sleep in a huddle before there father: who is imprisoned. All if you don't stick to the rainbow road.
The rainbow road was its own sanctuary. So named because every brick was different shade or color. Contrasted to the blackness of the woods and the smells of moss and blood that came from the surroundings. The rainbow road was as close as you got to hope on the new earth.
"what is up with this blatant douchebaggery," Said rumple "You live your life as best you can and even the path to heaven after the end of days is convoluted." then the little doll looked nervously: shifty-eyed, at his surroundings. Then continued out loud "You say if I get to heaven on my own then you will welcome me? Well, what about the fucking penguin? What are we going to do with him? We will reck his shit!" then he stops again nervously. Looking to the heavens for sympathy that, if there, is so ambiguous as to terrify those sane enough to have a fear of God, to do so.
When he sees Lewis Carrol carrying a little girl (that is a stiff as a corpse) in his arms. Shifty-eyed himself the logician fears conviction to the law of the land so instead, he hides in the shadow of a dead tree. Screaming out to Rumple "Are you sane my friend?" but before rumple could respond the disturbed logician was running back into the woods screaming out only "fear or shun the frumious Bandersnatch! The vorpal blade went snicker-snack."
The child in his arms, however, started kicking and he had to let her go reluctantly she wandered up the rag doll and said "I quite like him, his stories make me feel, oh so grown up! you know?" "You been watching THAT youtube? Lewis Carrol was in a documentary on THAT youtube. It was about him it said he was a child molester." Alice thought for a moment then said "But I liked him when I was older? I said nice things about Mr. Dodson" "you are a child don't tell me time isn't linear or some such crazy...I would believe it." "no, it's just, I'm not me, most things around here aren't." The ragdoll said nothing as he walked away. The little girl's voice calling after him. "oh come with me to Mr. Doddson he may even let you play with my Dinah, the poor thing he scolds it as much as he plays with it." by this point Rumple was on the horizon an ant-sized speck chasing after the dream of the rainbow road. He didn't even look back when he heard her scream for help or the sounds that followed.
